Okay I know that it’s been a really long time since I have last blogged. My family and I have been busy. On February 11th we had an addition to the family. We are fostering a soon to be 2 year old (June 5) little girl. It is an amazing experience; however it is a lot of work. Because we have to protect her as well as us, I will refer to her as “The Kid” in my blog (Jamie is doing the same and just so you know it is the same person). As Jamie said in her blog many of you have met her and have fallen for just as we have. She is an amazing little girl and I thank God everyday for allowing her to be in my life.

On the work front, April 15th was the semi end to Tax Season. October 15th will be the official end to the 2008 tax season. Just in time to start the preparation for the 2009 tax season. Then on top of the income taxes we had payroll quarterly tax returns due on April 30th. Boy was I glad to have April over with.

Jamie, Angela, Tessa, and I recently became annual passport holders for Disneyland. Jamie, The Kid and I have been really enjoying the trips to the “Happiest Place on Earth”. So it you have a pass and want someone to venture with you let us know and we would love to join you.

I am still taking cake classes and I promise that I will work on updating my cake blog. I hate to toot my own horn but some of my cakes are pretty cute.

It's Been A While!

So it has been over a months since my last post. It's amazing how time flies when your having fun. January was VERY busy at work. Every year I ask, how does the IRS expect us to get everyones' W-2's and 1099's out before January 31st. Other then that nothing major has happened over at the Stephens House.
